Privacy policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data CasinoGuide PH collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
In short
We collect very little. Browsing our reviews doesn’t require an account. We never sell your data, we never ask for ID or card details, and when you click to a casino we don’t send them anything that identifies you.

Who we are
What we collect
What we collect depends on what you do on the site.
When you browse
Our website host and security service automatically record standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and protect it from attacks.
When you click a casino link
We record that a click happened: the time, which casino, which of our pages and which spot on the page, and whether it was a phone, tablet or computer. We do not record your IP address or anything else that identifies you. The reference we pass to the casino only describes where on our site the click came from.
When you write a player review
We collect your name, email address, star rating, review title and text, and the time you agreed to our review terms. Your email is never published. We don’t store your IP address with the review. To stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled code made from your connection that can’t be turned back into your IP address, and it expires on its own.
When you contact us
When you join the newsletter
We collect your email address and your confirmation that you’re 21 or over and agree to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
Cookies and browser storage
Our ranking and comparison tools use your browser’s temporary session storage to remember which casinos you’re comparing and which notices you’ve closed. This is cleared when you close the tab and isn’t sent to us.
What we don't collect
We don’t ask for or collect ID documents, bank or card details, casino account details, or sensitive personal information such as health or religious information. Please don’t send any of these to us.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To run and secure the site (technical data): our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
- To measure which pages and placements are used (click records): our legitimate interest in running and improving the site and understanding commissions, using records that don’t identify you.
- To publish and moderate player reviews: your consent when you submit a review.
- To reply to you (contact form): your consent and our legitimate interest in answering questions and corrections.
- To send the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To comply with the law: when a regulator, court or the law requires it.
We don’t use your data for automated decisions that affect you, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run the site, such as our host, email and newsletter tools. They act on our instructions and must protect your data.
- Casinos receive only the non-identifying click reference described above, never your name, email or IP address from us.
- Authorities, such as the National Privacy Commission or law enforcement, when the law requires it.
Some providers may store data outside the Philippines. When they do, we use providers and agreements that protect it to the standard the Data Privacy Act requires.
When you leave our site for a casino
Casino websites are run by the casinos, not by us. Once you click through, the casino’s own privacy policy and cookies apply, including to any account you open. Casinos may use cookies to know that you came from CasinoGuide PH, so they can pay us a commission. We don’t receive your casino account details.
Only play on casinos licensed by PAGCOR, and read their privacy policy before you register.
